The RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance) literally means the recommended daily recommended amount of nutrients that a person should take every day.

The minimum daily requirement for different active ingredients has been encoded in tables. There are in fact tables, both American (RDA = Recommended Daily Allowances) and Italian (LARN
= Livelli di Assunzione Raccomandata di Nutrienti), which suggest specific values ​​for each nutrient with changes in relation to age and sex (for even weight and caloric intake height). The values ​​of these tables refer to individuals normally active, in order to maintain an adequate state of health.

In sports needs are different: it is obvious that the metabolic processes of the athletes are more intense than those of a sedentary, and is therefore only natural that the needs will rise.

The acronym MDR indicates the required minimum daily requirement: Minimum Daily Requirement.

In Italy, unfortunately, difficult to find given the MDR, then when you go to choose a product, it is good practice to check that most of the components are approaching or equal to 100% of RDA.

Read the labels of the products that you buy should be properly used in order to maintain a healthy diet and proper integration.
Food supplements become useful when what we eat is not able to satisfy our requirements, ie fails to cover the minimum needs of some specific nutrients necessary for the body to be able to operate regularly.

Food supplements are nothing more than the usual nutrients, ie substances commonly present in food that normally consume, select and concentrated industrially in the form of capsules, tablets, lozenges, sachets, beverages or otherwise, in order to allow more easily the coverage of the daily requirement.
