Were presented today at the Istituto Luigi Sturzo of Rome, the first results of the "News and Italians: from print, network, and mobile. Rite The information to be a puzzle."

The survey was conducted by the Department of Communication Sciences, University of Urbino Carlo Bo-on a sample of about 1200 people to investigate the relationship of the Italians with the main sources of information.

The report was compiled by subjecting respondents 50 questions with the aim of measuring the impact of new media on information Italian. The results are very interesting: the TV remains the preferred source of information in sharp contrast to the results of a similar survey conducted in America in which to lord it is the network. This data, however, clearly changes when the focus is on health.

If the TV is usually the main source of information, 71.8% of respondents prefer the network to find out about health and medicine, compared with 66% of America, data that confirm what we already had emerged from a survey conducted by ADN Kronos last May.

In particular, most of the people searching for information on the web in the health sector are aged between 30 and 49 years (47.3% of respondents) and reside in northern Italy (45.3%) or the south (33.9%) while the percentage drops to users of central Italy (20.9%).
