THE SURVEY WAS BORN IN APRIL 2010 - Nas in Milan in April 2010, created a partnership with the local office of the Customs Agency, establishing a monitoring of mail flows from third countries. This inspection was carried out by scanning electron and subsequent inspection of the packages coming from outside the EU (USA, Canada, Mexico, China and India) purchased "on line" and introduced into the country through the border posts of Milan-Linate and Milan-Malpensa.

700 PEOPLE IDENTIFIED AND INVOLVED - As part of this investigation, still in progress, have been carried out investigations thick with the constant support of the Italian Medicines and National Institute of Health in the context of the draft anti-pharmaceutical "IMPACT ITALY", coming to the reporting to the competent Public Prosecutor's Lombardy region of about 700 persons targeted by the items included in the survey.

CRIMES COMMITTED - The entity involved, in fact, many of them in the process of formal identification, are held accountable in various ways to import, trade, administration and use of:
  • drugs without Authorisation Holder,
  • Medicinal faults and / or imperfect, substances having a dopant (procured and distributed outside of authorized channels);
  • import and illicit trade in veterinary medicinal products;
  • smuggling of stolen goods and products;
  • misrepresentation of imported goods;
  • import of cosmetics dangerous for subsequent marketing.

ONE STOP - In the course of a person has been arrested for the crime of importation for the purpose of selling of medicinal products for amazing effect and doping (Nandrolone).

THE MAXI-SEIZURE - Overall underwent seizure:

  • 200 bottles of medicinal use doping hormone (GH);
  • more than 350,000 tablets;
  • Approximately 4700 packages of various medicinal products, (to effect doping, for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, for the treatment of baldness, for the treatment of obesity, etc.);several packages of veterinary drugs;
  • over 1700 packaging of cosmetic products.
